LTE Learning Notes
PRBOne LTE PRB has 12 subcarriers in frequency and one slot in time. Normal CP has 7 OFDM symbols per slot.
REOne Resource Element is one subcarrier during one OFDM symbol. It is the smallest LTE physical-layer mapping unit.
PDCCHPDCCH carries DCI and occupies the first CFI symbols of a downlink subframe.
PDSCHPDSCH carries downlink user data and system information after control and reference-signal overhead.
PBCHPBCH carries MIB and is located around the center 6 PRBs in subframe 0.
PSS / SSSSynchronization signals help the UE identify cell timing and physical cell ID group.
