Convert NR-ARFCN to Frequency

Use this when you see NR-ARFCN in logs, SIB information, cell configuration, drive-test tools, UE traces or gNodeB configuration.

Tip: For India C-band examples, try ARFCN around 620000–653333 for n78.

What this means in network logs

NR-ARFCNA channel number representing the RF reference frequency in 5G NR.
FrequencyThe calculated reference frequency in MHz based on the NR global raster.
Band MatchOne ARFCN may overlap more than one band range; final deployed band depends on operator configuration.

Convert Frequency to NR-ARFCN

Use this when you know the frequency from RF planning, spectrum allocation, scanner output or lab configuration and want the corresponding NR-ARFCN.

Note: Some entered frequencies may not fall exactly on the NR global raster. The tool warns you if the value is not raster-aligned.
Frequency to ARFCN Logic
NREF = NRef-Offs + (FREF − FRef-Offs) / ΔFGlobal

Frequency input must be aligned to the valid global raster spacing: 5 kHz, 15 kHz or 60 kHz depending on frequency range.

NR-ARFCN to Frequency
FREF = FRef-Offs + ΔFGlobal × (NREF − NRef-Offs)

Here, NREF is NR-ARFCN, FREF is reference frequency, FRef-Offs and NRef-Offs depend on the global frequency range, and ΔFGlobal is the global raster step.
